The Kyocera 2ZDK101HP-3D-OH Indexable Tool Holder is a Kyocera solid carbide drill from the ZDK high-performance series with a cutting diameter of Ø10.1 mm and 3×D drilling depth capability. The HP (high-performance) execution combines a 140° self-centering split point with internal coolant holes, polished parabolic flutes and a reinforced web — delivering IT9-class holes at carbide drilling speeds without spot drilling.

On S45C steel at Vc 100 m/min, Ø10.1 mm runs ≈ 3,151 RPM at f 0.15–0.18 mm/rev (≈ 567 mm/min), completing a 3×D hole in about 3.2 seconds. Torque demand is approximately 0.4 N·m with thrust around 1090 N — rigid clamping with runout ≤ 5 µm is essential to realize carbide tool life.
